The managers of the Bowling Infrastructure Group apply their time and skills across all the companies that make up the group. They assume the same roles and functions across each of the companies to ensure that the organisation, as a whole, runs efficiently and effectively both individually and as a unit.
Steve Bowling – Group Managing Director
Steve is the Managing Director of Bowling Infrastructure Group and is a common shareholder across all of the companies.
Steve & Bev started Steve Bowling Contracting Ltd in 1995 as a result of his passion for the industry and a vision to deliver a service beyond other Contractors. Along the way Steve saw opportunities to develop additional workstreams which resulted in the establishment or acquisition of the other members of the Bowling Infrastructure Group. Steve’s experience in the construction industry commenced in 1982 and includes a vast and varied range of experience including; Maintenance and refurbishment of fuel tanks at McMurdo Station, Antarctica and at the NZ Refining Company, construction of bridges, wharves, jetties, and building foundation piling. Steve’s career commenced as a carpenter working his way into management so understands the delivery of projects from the shovel, contract supervision, and contract management to the boardroom. Steve’s skills also extend to new venture development, capital investment and planning, and asset management.
Bev Bowling – Director

Bev is a Director of Bowling Infrastructure Group and is a common shareholder across all of the companies. Bev looked after all of the accounts and finances when they began Steve Bowling Contracting in 1995 and has seen the business grow exponentially. Although Bev works in a part time capacity now, Bev still provides direction to the finance, administration & accounts team for the group, oversees all office operations and works closely alongside Steve with all business development aspects.
Cameron Lornie – Group General Manager

Cameron joined the team at Bowling Infrastructure in 2014 and performs the role as Group General Manager to support the companies within the group. Cameron’s role includes support for contract management, tender bid writing, company systems development and implementation, compliance with health and safety, quality and environmental requirements, relationship management and financial management.
Cameron is a degree qualified civil engineer with a broad range of experience in the civil engineering field in locations including New Zealand, United Kingdom and Australia. His project experience includes civil, piling, roading (including motorways), building, structures and marine construction. He also has broad experience in financial management, operations management and HR, having worked for a specialist recruitment role for the construction of the London 2012 Olympic Games.
Erin Wright – Finance & Accounts Manager

Erin commenced her career with Bowling Infrastructure Group in 2011 and has worked her way from receptionist, to Administration Manager & more recently the Finance & Accounts Manager. Erin’s knowledge of finance & accounting stems from 3 years working in an accounting firm when leaving school and the completion of a Business Management Diploma. Erin oversees all of the finances & accounts for all companies within the group, and reports on these finances to the directors & managers.
Ayla Knight – Administration Manager

Starting her journey with Bowling Infrastructure Group in 2014 as an Administrator, Ayla then moved into an Accounts Administrator role for NPM Construction and SSP Engineering in August of 2016. Ayla is now the Administration Manager, which comes with the responsibility of assisting with the preparation of tenders for all the companies under the Bowling Infrastructure Group umbrella. Ayla also assists with HR, is in charge of employment contracts and oversees all of the accounts payable and receivable for the Bowling Infrastructure Group.
Sharon Grimmer – Compliance Manager
Sharon joined the Bowling Infrastructure group at the beginning of 2018 and her role as the Compliance Manager is focused predominantly on Health and Safety and providing assistance on other areas such as HR, environmental and quality where required. Sharon’s experience is broad and she has worked in the construction industry for many years. Her previous roles have had a strong focus on health and safety and since joining the Bowling Infrastructure Group has been studying towards a National Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety Level 4 qualification to provide a formal qualification to back up her vast experience.
Nellie Robertson – Account Administrator

Nellie began working for the Bowling Infrastructure Group as a temp back in late 2006. Nellie handles the invoicing, payroll and accounts for BIG Assets, Steve Bowling Contracting, GHK Piling and Pole Structures. Nellie has since downsized her working week to 4 days, and enjoys the comradery that comes from working in a close-knit team.
Kim Glavish – Accounts Administrator
Kim Glavish is the accounts administrator for NPM Construction. Kim is in charge of payroll, invoicing and accounts for the company. Kim joined the team in 2020 and is enjoying working in a busy and positive office.
Nicole Andrews – Accounts Administrator
Nicole is the Accounts Administrator role for NPM Remediation and SSP Engineering. Nicole is in charge of payroll, invoicing and accounts for those two companies. Nicole is a keen hockey player and a valuable member of the team.
Cat Green – Receptionist
Joining the Bowling Infrastructure Group in 2016 as Receptionist, Cat comes from a background of administration. Cat enjoys the busy nature of the front line role, answering the phones and handling customer enquiries. Cat is a bubbly all-rounder, who helps the companies and the admin team with a wide range of tasks.
Casey Hargood
Casey joined the Bowling Infrastructure Group team in 2019 as maternity cover and never left. Casey has become a key member of the team, focussing majority of her time on human resources and assisting with the compliance and training workloads. Casey comes from a varied administration background which means she is flexible to the multitude of tasks sent her way.
